Some people think working at the facility would make you feel important.

It mostly just makes you aware of how many doors stay closed.

There are hallways I clean that never appear on any map. Rooms that always have power

even during outages. Reports that get archived faster than anyone could possibly read them.

Everyone else seems comforted by the idea that someone is in control.

I think that’s the part that keeps me awake.

Because the people asking the questions never decide what the official answers are.
